SHELDON BRIGMAN

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT


Sheldon Brigman has 15+ years of entertainment experience as a producer, development, production and acquisitions executive.


Brigman came to Level 33 from Spy Filmz, a production and distribution consulting company he formed in 2007. While with Spy Filmz, Brigman brokered countless distribution deals and provided consulting services to entertainment companies like Bold Films, Slamdance Media Group, VDI Entertainment and National Lampoon. Brigman also has several feature films and television series in various stages of active development through the Spy Filmz banner.


Before forming Spy Filmz, Brigman served as Vice President of Acquisitions for global independent distribution company Ventura Distribution. He was responsible for acquiring content for Ventura’s domestic and international distribution operations in Canda, United Kingdom, Australia, Pan Europe and Japan. Brigman was also responsible for such key acquisitions as “Tony Bennett: The Music Never Ends” (Produced by Clint Eastwood), “The Kids In the Hall: The Pilot”, “SNL: The Best of Mike Meyers”, “SNL: The Best of John Belushi”, “Joe Rogan: Live”, “Zach Galifianakis: Live From the Purple Onion” and “Where the Wild Things Are”.


Brigman began his career at Paramount Pictures working on television shows such as “Fraiser”, “Wings”, “Entertainment Tonight”, “Sister Sister” and “Ellen”. He graduated to the position of Production Coordinator for “Baywatch” and later as a 2nd AD on films including “Playing By Heart” (Miramax). Brigman made the move to into development while serving as the Manager of Development at Paramount Pictures-based Magic Lantern Films headed by legendary producer Howard Kazanjian (“Raiders of the Lost Ark”, “Return of the Jedi”, ”The Empire Strikes Back”). Sheldon has also held development executive positions with Gaslight Pictures (“Cheaters” – HBO) and Minds Eye Pictures (“Viva Las Nowhere” – Warner Bros.).


Brigman holds a Bachelors degree in Communications from the University of North Carolina - Wilmington.
