CEDRIC ‘THE ENTERTAINER’ MAKES DIRECTORIAL DEBUT WITH COMEDY ‘DANCE FU’


Los Angeles, Calif. (April 18, 2011) - Level 33 Entertainment announced today that is has acquired the North American rights to the comedy feature ‘DANCE FU’, which marks the directorial debut of comedic actor Cedric ‘The Entertainer’.


The film was written by Kel Mitchell and produced by Bird and a Bear Entertainment. Set for a Fall 2011 release, ‘Dance Fu’ follows a young championship dancer seeking fortune and fame until he gets sidetracked and is forced to avenge the death of his uncle.


The film’s cast includes Cedric ‘The Entertainer’, Cory Hardrict (Battle: Los Angeles, Gran Torino), Katerina Graham (The Vampire Diaries, The Roommate), Kel Mitchell (Good Burger) and Tommy Davidson (Black Dynamite).

Recent Level 33 releases include the scout camp comedy ‘SCOUTS HONOR: BADGE TO THE BONE’ starring funnymen Chris Kattan (SNL) and Fred Willard (Anchorman) and the fast becoming cult classic ‘AAAH! ZOMBIES!!’.
